Privacy & Security Policy AUTODERM dermatology AI API

 

iDoc24 (“iDoc24″) owner of AUTODERM is committed to protecting personal information and customer information and privacy.
This Privacy & Security Policy applies to AUTODERM which is an analytics dermatology engine using artificial intelligence (AI) and distributed by an Application Protocol Interface (API). This policy describes the personal information and customer information we collect and how we use and secure it.

Definitions:

    • Customer – paying users of the API
    • End user – the image submitted to the API
    • Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII” means information that can be used to identify a person personally, such as name, email address, phone number, IP address, passport, driving licence, identity card, etc.

 

AUTODERM intended use: It is an API to get access to our AI on skin diseases. The end user: uploads an anonymous focused image of a skin condition and will get 5 answers ranked in order of what the condition could be. The image should be in focus and not be personally identifiable (face or identifiable skin markings such as tattoos should not been shown in the image).

1- Information We Collect from end user

Information collected by iDoc24 with the AUTODERM API consists of the following, and constitutes a “Case” and applies to the service provided via a customer integration (third party) to a website, mobile applications and other internet connected platforms. We do not collect any personal PII. We collect the following information in order for the service to function:
a- One original image of a skin condition submitted by the user.
b- Color and size of the image.

Images of the face, rare birthmark, or an identifying tattoo should not be submitted to keep the user anonymous.

2- Information We Collect from customer

We collect the API identification key to the customer, which is used to track API calls. The image sent from the end user can be related to the organisation, not to an individual.

3- Use of the image from end user

iDoc24 may use, the image for machine learning to make a new AI, share, transfer, or disclose usage statistics, itself or in conjunction with third parties, for payment processing, fraud prevention, customer service, research, and to tailor iDoc24’s content and services to its users’ needs. These third parties are authorized to use this information only as necessary for the purpose(s) of iDoc24’s agreements with them.

4- Use of the information from customer
We collect the API identification key to the customer, which is used to track API calls. The image sent from the end user can be related to the organisation, not to an individual. iDoc24 may share the customer information with any parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control, in which event it will require that such companies follow this Policy.

iDoc24 has no PII and cannot communicate with the end user from a sent case.

7- Deleting images (end user)

Use the service as intended! We do not track any of the submitted cases and no receipts are created upon a sent case (such as case numbers or file numbers to a case). If at any time an image needs to be deleted from the Service and/or database, or believe that iDoc24 has not adhered to these privacy principles, please notify us by email at [email protected]. To delete an image would require us to do it manually and it will only be possible to do so with an exact copy of the image submitted. We will use reasonable commercial resources to delete an image.

8- Deleting customer information

Upon request when a contract has been terminated all financial information to the customer can be deleted upon request after final payment has been processed.

9- End user: Links on Third-Party Sites

To the extent that links to other Websites are contained in Posts on the Service, please note that they are not operated or controlled by iDoc24 and iDoc24 is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of these third-party sites. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any Web site you visit.

Our API does not include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and widgets, such as the ShareThis button or interactive mini-programs that run on our API. No cookies are collected for tracking. Third parties (processors) that we have contracts with could implement cookies or other forms of tracking and it is important to read their privacy policy.

10- Security and Data Retention general

iDoc24 uses multiple security procedures and practices to protect from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification and disclosure of sent information.
All data is transferred with encryption.

All information is password protected. All passwords use encryption.

Our main servers are hosted by a third party provider in a private and secure environment, we use Microsoft Azure cloud platform for data storage.

Despite these security procedures and practices, as is the case with all computer networks connected to the Internet, iDoc24 cannot guarantee the security of the sent information over the Internet in extreme cases such as organisational hacking or breach by our cloud service provider.

11- Proprietary Rights to Content

You grant to iDoc24 a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable (through multiple tiers) license to use, reproduce, display, edit, copy, modify, transmit, publicly perform, extract and create derivative works from, content, in any media now known or not currently known. This licensed right may be exercised in order to provide the Service and for other purposes.

12- Updates to This Policy

By using the Service, you are accepting this policy. We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. In the event of privacy policy updates, our customers will be notified by email.
